The restored late-1800s Hummocks Station offers a rare chance to stay in comfort while enjoying the quiet and seclusion of another century — surrounded by hills, creeks, trees, native birds, animals and farm life. Accommodation is booked separately from the caravan park.

The Homestead

Six bedrooms on the verandah

All rooms are non-smoking, cool in summer and warm in winter, with ceiling fans and reverse-cycle air conditioning added for modern comfort.

  • Eastern verandah — two large rooms, each with a king bed and modern ensuite, looking over the homestead’s natural rural setting.
  • Western verandah — four bedrooms with queen beds, three with additional singles, sharing an adjacent modern unisex bathroom with wheelchair access to the toilets and showers.
  • Shared spaces — a fully equipped guest kitchen and a large shady pergola with gas BBQ for meal preparation.

Six bedrooms sleep up to 17 people; with the cabins the station can accommodate up to 25. Groups can book out the entire complex, and the two character-filled function rooms suit weddings, conferences, meetings and parties.

The Cabins

Three self-contained ensuite cabins

Each cabin has a queen bed, ensuite and reverse-cycle air conditioning, and is equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, electric fry pan and fridge. Sit back on the decking with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

Two cabins suit a couples getaway; the third has a queen bed plus two bunk beds for a family.
